An evening of architecture and urbanism at the Conscious Cities Festival

By

You may have just had a summer lounging at the new Domino Park or perhaps you landed a new lease for an apartment overlooking a community garden. In such close quarters, we’re all inherently affected by the urban planning decisions made for New York. If you’re interested in science-informed architecture and urbanism, Tuesday night you can hear talks from a lineup of established speakers at the Conscious Cities Festival.  Hosted by a local think tank focused on “using design to address urban issues facing society today and in the future,” the festival goes all week. But Tuesday’s kick-off night is focused on resilience, beginning at 6pm. Tickets are $10 and the event will be held on the Pratt campus in Clinton Hill.
