There’s a bit of a nip in the air these days, which in my book means it’s a high time to be injecting a lot more soup into my life on a regular basis. I might start this Sunday with a trip to Lot 45 for the Brooklyn Chowder Takedown, a competition between talented home cooks all vying for “Best Chowder” bragging rights. Clam chowder, corn chowder, fish chowder and other varieties that you may have never even thought of will be ladled out to hungry guests from 2-4pm, so don’t fill up on brunch.
