New Duke Riley exhibit in Red Hook

By

The artist Duke Riley made a big splash in Brooklyn back in 2016, when he trained thousands of pigeons fitted with LED lights to fly in patterns off a barge moored at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Now, three years after the Fly By Night sensation, Riley has another exciting exhibit opening here: a new video-installation focused on the bedbug outbreak in Washington D.C. hotels with what sounds like a distinctly “spy thriller” vibe. The opening ceremony for Non-Essential Consultants, Inc., which runs until November 24, is on Saturday from 6-8pm at Red Hook Labs.
