A Reading Series at Franklin Park to support literacy for incarcerated teens

By

This season is about being grateful for the good in our lives and spreading holiday cheer in the ways we can, both big and small. One of the best ways to do a little something for someone else is to attend Tuesday night’s Reading to Support Incarcerated Youth. Hosted by the literary collective Reading Series of NY from 8-10pm at Franklin Park in Crown Heights, ten of the most popular reading groups of New York will band together to fundraise for the non-profit LIT: Literacy for Incarcerated Teens. This collaborative event will have some heavy-hitter authors from the area, so arrive on time to grab a seat. There will be drink specials, a book raffle, and a suggested donation of $5 going directly to LIT.
