An evening of magic, mindreading, and mentalism that has been described as “professional mindfuckery” by Time Out New York sounds like as good a way to spend Friday the 13th as any, and you can partake by buying a ticket to see Wondershow at The Sultan Room in Bushwick. Friday’s cast features renowned mentalist Vinny DePonto, circus legend Keith “Bindlestiff” Nelson, choreography by Jenny Rocha and the Painted Ladies, and Mahdi Gilbert, a master sleight of hand specialist with the unusual distinction of having been born without hands or feet.
