I hate to be a downer, but I get the sense that I’m not the only one who feels like 2019 was a pretty crap year. If your optimism is flagging a bit and you could use a hefty injection of some seasonal magic on Monday, consider attending Beyond Belief, a live, areligious lecture/play/reality show that makes the case for the existence of Santa Claus in front of a panel of skeptical kids at the Park Church Co-op. Tickets are $15 each, and the show is followed by a party with drinks, food, and presents for all.
