Brelaun Douglas
Brelaun Douglas is a graduate student at New York University, working towards her master’s in journalism with a concentration in multimedia. She is also an alumna of Howard University, where she received her B.A. in journalism – emphasis on print/online media and a minor in photography.
She has been a reporter for the Amsterdam News, the Atlanta Voice Newspaper, Howard University News Service and DC Spotlight Newspaper, covering a wide range of topics from protests to legislative issues to community events. As well, she covered the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Her reporting has appeared in the District Chronicles, The Afro-American, Trice Edney Newswire and various other publications across the country.
