Make Music New York is today, and Sing for Hope’s pop-up pianos are back. Here’s a map of the 60 public keys you can find throughout the city today through Saturday, July 2.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 22 through August 10, Jeremy Plays Guitar kicks off 8 weeks of free kids concerts in Fort Greene Park, from 10 to 12pm every Wednesdsay. AudraRox and the Deedle Deedle Dees are on the lineup, listed in full along with directions at A Child Grows in Brooklyn.

This Friday June 24, the Albee Square Public Plaza (at Bond & Fulton) opens with a day-long celebration, beginning with morning of kids bands like Audra Rox from 10am to noon and face-painting from 10 to 3pm, followed by the Blue Room Vipers and Red Hook Ramblers.

On Sunday, June 26, The Itty Biddies, the fabulous, new-ish kids band we’ve raved about before, perform a 45-minute noon show at Joe’s Pub for the first time. Tickets are $10 for kids 12 and under, and $12 for adults, but there’s a coupon code, JPTIXB3, to discount advance tickets by 50%!

Sunday, July 10 is “Family Day” at Central Park Summerstage, with a free kids show from 3 to 5pm. Multiple acts will perform like The Verve Pipe, The Zany Umbrella Circus, and Brooklyn Steppers Marching Band. It’s part of the City Parks Foundation’s summer-long kids series, SummerStage Kids, with puppet shows and concerts around town.

On Saturday, July 16, Dan Zanes performs a free Celebrate Brooklyn show at the Prospect Park Bandshell with the Brooklyn Youth Orchestra and Bed Stuy Veterans.
