Sweets for the Sweet

By

The only time I’ve tried to make candy was way back when I was a kid, when my grandma and I would buy those chocolate disks you used to get at craft stores and you’d melt them and put them in plastic molds—more of a chocolate shaping exercise than a proper candy making experience. Local fave Liddabit Sweets are setting out to make real, authentic, from-scratch candy making accessible for everyone through their brand-new Liddabit Sweets Candy Cookbook. Say hi to the real-life Willy Wonkas at their launch event this Tuesday, taking place at 61 Local. They’ll be hanging out to sign books, answer any burning questions you may have on the craft, and of course provide some sweets to inspire your own candy making. —C.A.
