Expect hot, singing Santas
No matter how cool your office is–if you even work in an office–the best “work” party in this city is our No Office Holiday Party with the skint, Brokelyn, and Fucked in Park Slope. Last year we partied with you and these fine bloggers, and we had a shit ton of stupid fun.
On Thursday, Dec. 20, we’re bringing the shenanigans back to Littlefield with an awesome guest–Wyatt Cenac, our favorite, almost former Senior Black Correspondent on The Daily Show! He’s leaving the show Dec. 13, but you can see him at our party, and he may even read one of your best, worst work stories from 2012 (which we encourage you to think about and write down on the spot). Then The Kings of Karaoke will inspire you to drop your guard and belt out an 80s power ballad, or whatever song your spirit animal is itching to sing.
Afterward Steve Reynolds–the DJ behind the insanely popular Party Like its 1999 dance party–will take over the dance floor and play every possible song you’d want to shake your booty to (and not just from the 80s and 90s). Plus, perhaps most amazing of all, we have lined up dancers who’ll perform a synchronized number in business casual attire. It’s true!
Considering most offices aren’t even throwing holiday parties this year, this is likely your only chance to drink enough to do something really, terriffically embarrassing in front of others. So come prepared to pose in our holiday photobooth courtesy Bibi Booth, knock back cheap, spiked punch, eat Oaxaca Tacos, and maybe, just maybe, get a sloppy kiss beneath the mistletoe.
Tickets are $6 in advance, $8 at the door. Doors are 8pm. Be there with bells on!
