Clinton/Gore 2013

By

In an exciting coincidence, Brooklyn is hosting two of the most preeminent figures of late 90s U.S. politics in the same week-and-a-half-long span. First, BAM will present a dialogue featuring former President (and future First Man?) Bill Clinton, along with daughter Chelsea Clinton, about the incredible work of the Clinton Foundation. The presentation begins at 7pm and will be moderated by talented actor and activist Edward Norton, with music by DJ Fulano. Although super-VIP tickets are selling for staggering sums, there are still $50 and $100 tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity available here. Then on March 8, Al Gore, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize (not to mention, ahem, the 2000 presidential election), will be dropping by the powerHouse Arena to discuss his latest book, The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change, from 6-8pm.  The regular admission tickets are $45 and include an autographed copy of the book, but $35 student tickets may be available, space permitting, at the door.
