Don’t miss the final days of Katherine Gray’s inaugural exhibition, A Tree Grows, wrapping up its residency at the Agnes Varis Art Center inside UrbanGlass on Jan. 4. Made up of thousands of drinking glasses (some from Brooklyn kitchens), Gray’s creations pay tribute to the borough’s most beloved trees, including the Norwegian maple, the London plane and the mulberry. If the exhibition leaves you inspired, UrbanGlass, which fired up the kilns in its new studio space on the ground floor of BRIC House this fall, has just announced its brand new January class series, including Introduction to Kiln Casting and Glassblowing for Teens.
