A few notes on travel and check in:
Check-in for the event Tickets is between 11:30 and 12:30 at Dia:Beacon and between noon and 1pm at the Beacon Visitor’s Center where you’ll exchange your tickets for your pack of WAM and Immersion deal card. A map of all these locations is at http://bit.ly/beaconimmersion.
Beacon’s about an hour and a half from Grand Central on Metro-North. The 9:43am train arrives at 11:24am and the 10:43 arrives at 12:24pm. When you arrive, it’s an easy walk to our check-in locations. The last train back to NYC is at 11:12pm Saturday night and 4:48am on Sunday if you have the stamina!
Use our 10% discount* for weekend-long stays at the brand-new Beacon Hotel and make a mini-getaway out of The Total Beacon Immersion. (There are plenty of Airbnbs too.) Beacon Hotel require a two-night minimum stay, and will only charge your card upon check in, when you can redeem your Immersion discount. If you do stay, catch a few spectacular races the morning of the Immersion at Poughkeepsie’s annual Dragon Boat Race and River Festival, just 25 minutes north by train. Also, the new Inn and Spa at Beacon is offering 10% off its spa services on Sunday when you mention the Beacon Immersion.
