CONEY ISLAND If you missed the Polar Bears’ annual New Year’s Day swim, worry not – there’s still a chance for you to get your shivery swimming in before the end of January. This Sunday at 1pm, the seemingly cold-blooded club (and brave newbies) will be taking a refreshing swim behind the Cyclone; after the chilly dip, the group will head to Russian motorcycle-friendly bar Bratva to warm up with some classic rock, courtesy of Polar Bar Chris Gellar’s band Isaac’s Horizon, as well as $4 pints and a selection of coffee drinks (including the Russian coffee with Russian Standard vodka). The group will also be showing a slideshow of pics from members’ trip to China, which took their cold-swimming ethos international.
