DJ vs Band? Decide at Party Crashers on Sunday

Weddings and celebrations just wouldn’t be complete without music. If you’re planning a major event or your own nuptials, you can find the perfect band for it at our marathon music showcase at The Bell House this Sunday, March 18.

Party Crashers brings together the city’s best pro musicians who perform at weddings and events when they’re not at SXSW or backing folks like Lee Fields, Norah Jones, Sufjan Stevens and Jay-Z.

Doors open at 3:30, with a set by DJ James Mulry, followed by an expert panel at 4pm on the pros and cons of booking a DJ vs. a band for your big day, moderated by wedding and event planner Ashley M. Chamblin.

Then sit back in the special lounge designed by Stellar Vintage Wedding & Event Rentals as you hear six great dance, soul, and cover bands—Evolution of DWP Live Factory, The LoyalesThe EngagementsMIXTAPE cover bandKinky Spigot and the Welders, and Tribute String Quartet live—and indulge in Sweet Pistachio’s interactive treats.
