Update: Funny People (Special Guest Announced)

By

Now here is a comedy show worth changing your plans for: Wyatt Cenac, Max Silvestri, Sara Schaefer, and Todd Barry all on the same stage for $15!–plus Reggie Watts was just announced as a special guest performer. Put A Fork In It, a fundraiser for the New York City Coalition Against Hunger’s Craig Murphey Fellowship Fund, promises tons of laughs this Thursday at the Bell House, even though it came into existence because of a terrible tragedy. After Murphey, a young anti-hunger advocate who lived in Brooklyn, was killed in a bike accident in 2007, his family and friends started the fellowship program to keep his mission to provide sustainable and nutritious food to low-income New Yorkers alive. One of the best things about this town is that you can just stumble onto a stellar lineup of comedians like this one on a random weeknight, and this time, it’s all for a fantastic cause. Tickets are $15 if you buy them in advance or $18 at the door.
