Kick off Pride weekend on Friday night at the Wythe Hotel, which is hosting Queer|Art|Pride, a two-day celebration of art and queer culture culminating in Friday’s programming, which includes a screening of Tu Me Manques, a work-in-progress film by director Rodrigo Bellott; a 90s queer nostalgia drag performance party; and an all-night alumni art jam featuring live music, performance art, film screenings, dance, and more. The fun starts at 7:30, and tickets for individual events start at $12, or $40 for admission to everything. Not in the mood to party? Consider joining a group bike ride to Coney Island to take advantage of the rides, food vendors, and Friday night fireworks display. You can join up starting at 7pm in one of three meeting spots, and participation is free, but you’ll need to bring money for food and entertainment once you get to the boardwalk.
