By

Since the arts community of Bushwick first invited the public to peek at its easels in 2006, Bushwick Open Studios has grown into an intimidating number of art shows and spaces to visit over the course of 48 hours. To help winnow down the 600 inspiring, provocative and out there options this year–like a Boar’s Head plant that will double as a sculpture park, or BOS’s first official film event–you can pick up Bushwick Daily’s curated NO BS BOS guide Thursday night at 299 Meserole, or stop by Norte Maar’s Maps-n-Mimosas happening on Saturday for bubbly and a map, handily broken down by zone by Arts in Bushwick. Both are detailed in our own brief plan of attack by Sara Christoph, along with a few standout shows.
