Kickstart your Saturday at a block party at the new(ish) home of Kickstarter outside 58 Kent St. Food, games, art, demos, tours and more are planned, and the company will bring it all full circle by celebrating not only its own success but the success of its users. Artists who have used Kickstarter to fund their projects like the Marina Abramovic Institute, Marshall Arisman, Jeremy Bailey, Amanda Browder, and other Kickstarter alumni like Booze Books, BBox Radio and Fire & Bone are among the wide array of participants. Here’s a full line up of what to expect, including a couple of special events–like a tour of Kickstarter’s headquarters, live performances and a cookie-painting workshop–which will require an RSVP.
