On August 8 from 7 to 10pm, we’ll be playing Game of Intros at Greenwood Park–a dating game for the smartphone set. To play, you’ll need to download MeetMoi and enter “Brooklyn” in the guest list field of registration. To win, use these hints:
-If you want to get a lot of Intros–which will help you win prizes like dinners for 2 and free drinks, and of course, to meet new people–don’t set up your profile in a way that’s super specific. For instance, enter a broad age range and select a few different body types.
-If you want to make sure the Intros you get are tailored for you, select answers for all the auxiliary fields like music and personality. The app will use it in its matchmaking algorithms.
Each time you receive an Intro on your phone, show it to one of the MeetMoi folks (who’ll be wearing shirts). We’ll be keeping score for every Intro you make, and tallying them at the end of the night to see who scored the most for the free dinners and $100 bar tab at Greenwood Park. Even if you only get a few Intros, it’s worth checking in–for every 3rd intro you receive, you’ll get a free beer.
