Broken Record

It’s not every day that you can see someone set a world record, let alone a whole bunch of them. On Thursday, Littlefield is holding a meeting of the URDB World Record Appreciation Society; run by the Universal Record Database, the event features more than ten world record attempts made by people as diverse as costumed xylophone performers the Xylopholks, memory expert Emily Garber, and TV writers Opus Moreschi and Cory Cavin. Last month’s records included “Most Movies Added to Netflix Queue in Two Minutes,” “Most eBay Packages Opened in One Minute,” and “Largest Female Accordion Group to Play a Polka Song,” so expect similarly oddball feats this evening.
