Did your invite to the Oscars get lost in the mail? Don’t worry, ours too – but thankfully, a number of our fave Brooklyn bars are throwing their own parties. Two bars in Park Slope are holding their own festivities — the Fifth Estate promises some sort of drinking game as well as ballots for attendees, and KiKi and Jinners’ Oscar Party at Union Hall features drink specials themed after Best Picture nominees, a $3 champagne-and-pomegranate cocktail, and prizes to be won. In Williamsburg, the Brooklyn Winery will be holding it down with their own viewing party featuring discounts on sparkling wines, with Oscar-appropriate attire encouraged.
