We don’t want to jinx it, but it looks like we finally have the last frost behind us and it’s time to start planting! Get yourself in the mood by heading over to the Flatbush Food Co-op between noon and 3pm for their second annual plant swap. Participants are encouraged to bring extra plants to recycle, but free plants (and gardening tips) will be available. When you are finished perusing the perennials, head down the road to the Spring Book Sale at the Cortelyou Library, which will feature live music and donated books for sale from 11am until 3pm.
