As part of ¡Si Cuba!, a citywide celebration of Cuban arts and culture, BAM is hosting a variety of Cuban-themed events and performances over the next several months. Kick off the festivities at a free concert by Quimbombo, an eight-piece band specializing in Cuban son, the distinct dance music popularized by Buena Vista Social Club. The show starts at 9pm in the BAMcafé and promises big sound and infectious grooves.
