Get down with Saint Dymphna at tonight’s gig at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. The New York group Gang Gang Dance is headlining the venue in advance of the release of its new album Eye Contact on May 10th; the band’s first album in three years features eclectic soundscapes like opener “Glass Jar.” The edgily electronic dance-friendly collective is also slated to perform at the heavily hyped Animal Collective-curated All Tomorrow’s Parties in the UK next week; following that, they won’t be back in the States until late July, so catch them now before they head off. Openers New Moods, originating from Bushwick, will be bringing their dark 80s-style synths to the party.
