Wandering through Prospect Park on a summer evening is one of those small pleasures afforded Brooklynites in search of a low-key date night. For the past several years, the Park has improved upon the experience by holding “Twilight Tours” on selected Thursdays throughout the summer, starting this week. The so-called “urban safari” starts with a wine-and-cheese reception at the ever-lovely Boathouse, followed by a twirl around the Lullwater on an old-school electric boat. The evening culminates in a full-on nature experience, with a Bat Walk led by an Audubon naturalist. Make reservations by calling (718) 287-3400, ext. 303, and be prepared to pay the $30 fee in cash at the start.
