If you live in the neighborhood — or even if you don’t — going to the Rub at Southpaw is a rite of passage. The legendary hip-hop club night has been adding some dancin’ fun to the late-night Slope scene since 2002. This Saturday, they celebrate their nine-year anniversary with a super-sized night. Besides DJ sets from Rub regulars like Cosmo Baker, DJ Ayres, and DJ Eleven, also expect an appearance from Low Beezy; the Philly DJ, who’s spun with Diplo under the Hollertronix name and toured with MIA, is notorious for putting on a good time.
