Sunday Sundae

By

Kill the Sunday afternoon blues with the endorphin (and sugar) rush that can only come from the world’s most divine dessert at the Bell House’s Ice Cream Takedown, sponsored and judged by local ice cream luminaries like Ample Hills and Van Leeuwen. Starting at 4pm, local purveyors of over 20 varieties of frozen, creamy deliciousness will be competing for best in show, so prepare your palate and head on over. Tickets are only $15, and with the brutal temperatures this week, we can’t think of any reason to miss this event. Though if your Sunday dance card is full, Smorgasburg is hosting nearly every local, awesome ice cream maker in honor of National Ice Cream Day this Saturday July 16.

I’ll be there!  Early Bird was in the city last year with HAY ice cream and I hear they’re bringing it back!
