In 1986, an virtually unknown band called They Might Be Giants filmed their first music video in Williamsburg with a 16mm Bolex camera and a boombox. A lot has changed in 25 years, but the boys have stayed true to their Brooklyn roots and will return this Friday to put on a free, full-length concert on the Williamsburg Waterfront. Brooklyn comedy fixture Eugene Mirman will open with a special presentation of Pretty Good Friends, along with stellar guests Todd Barry, Patton Oswalt, and Kristen Schaal. Doors open at 5:30pm, so arrive early and prepare to be entertained by some of the borough’s best talent.
