Creepy Crawlies

After a full weekend of Halloween craziness, you’re forgiven for not necessarily wanting to head into the crush of people at the Village Halloween Parade. For a significantly more adorable time, stop by the Park Slope Children’s Halloween Parade. The annual event is the largest of its kind, and is a fantastic outlet for the children in your life to show off their costumes – or just to stop by and admire the creativity of Park Slope parents when it comes to costume-making. This year’s theme is “BOO-klyn!”, so come prepared for some particularly cute ghosts. For an extensive round up of Halloween parades and events for the kids, including BBG’s Ghouls and Gourds festival this Saturday, check out the listings on A Child Grows in Brooklyn.
