Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, a musician and DJ with his hands in The Roots, Jimmy Fallon’s house band, and dance parties at Brooklyn Bowl, is bringing an eclectic mix of musical guests together for a two-night show at BAM called “Shuffle Culture.” The lineup for Thursday and Friday are both impressive, but on Thursday you’ll catch musician-comedian Reggie Watts along with talents like Sasha Grey (she’s a musician?) perform a free-form playlist with avant rockers Deerhoof and the all-string Metropolis Ensemble. Tickets start at $25.
