Spaghetti Cinema

If your job’s as crazy hectic as mine has been lately, on Monday nights all you want is somebody to put a glass of wine in your hand, a delicious dinner in front of you, and a distracting movie on the screen. If your significant other/BFF/mom can’t help you out, Bar Toto can fill that void. Every Monday, they screen a film with a connection to Italy, ranging from classics like Cinema Paradiso and Divorzio all’italiana to cheekier choices like Nine and The Italian Job. This week, the featured film is Matrimonio all’italiana (Marriage Italian-Style), a comedy released in 1964. The beautiful Sophia Loren stars, Toto’s half-carafes of wine are just $16, and their spaghetti and meatballs is the only one that can compete with this Italian girl’s recipe, so why not chase away the Monday blues there? –C.A.
