Get Your Creep On

By

There are a ton of Halloween parties happening this week (check out our post for lots more parties we’re totally excited about) but if you wanna do something to really get your creep on this year then you should probably check out what’s popping at Brooklyn Bowl this Saturday night. It’s the New York Night Train’s 7th Anniversary Haunted Hop, and Jonathan Toubin is breaking out his spookiest 45’s to make you do the Monster Mash all night long! Keytar video artist B.A. Miale will be there conjuring up eerie images on the walls to keep you in the Halloween spirit, and Hula Hoop Harlot Melissa-Anne will perform a Halloween-themed hula dance that’ll blow your mind. Also performing will be Dionne Werewolf, playing horror-themed Burt Bacharach covers (fronted by three were-women!) and “Land Of 1000 Dances” dancers who will be leading dances throughout the night like  “The Monster Mash,” The Frankenstein Walk” and a personal favorite of mine, “The Lurch.” And let’s not forget the 2am costume contest with a $100 cash prize! It’s $8 admission, but only $5 if you wear a costume.
