UPDATE: THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED DUE TO SUPERSTORM SANDY. This Friday, from 6-8pm, the brewers from Oceanside, Long Island’s own Barrier Brewing Co. will be at Eastern District to pour samples, fill growlers, and chat about their fantastic beers. They’re taking over all six of their taps, and bringing a few really special brews, including the first barrel of Dunegrass (a double IPA) produced in their new brewery location. Come taste some staff favorites from a truly innovative small brewery–but call ahead (718-349-1432) to confirm that Barrier is able to make it out of Sandy-torn Strong Island.
