Brooklyn Night Bazaar, the food, music and shopping mindmeld inspired by the night markets of Asia, returns tonight for a month of Friday and Saturday night parties in a 40,000-square-foot warehouse on the Williamsburg waterfront. Chow down on food from the likes of Pok Pok NY (which will offer a pop-up, sit-down “dining experience” weekend of Dec. 14-15), Asia Dog, Littleneck, Fatty Cakes and Mexicue, shop at PeekBrooklyn, FCTRY, Shannon South Recycled Leather Bags, Kill Devil Hill and over 100 other independent designers, artists and boutiques, and most importantly, come for the music, because this is what sets the bazaar apart from every other New York flea and craft fair. TV on the Radio guitarist Kyp Malone headlines opening night, and the free shows continue with French Horn Rebellion (Nov 24), Pains of Being Pure at Heart, MEN and more. PIPS is taking their table tennis to the market the entire month, too–just to make sure you will never, ever be bored here. Follow their Facebook page for more surprises.
