The holidays are coming and we all need to buy gifts for those special people in our lives. But what do we buy? Luckily The Old Stone House is holding the first ever Brooklyn Holiday Book Fair this Saturday, presented by Honey & Wax Booksellers. Buy rare, out-of-print and first editions from local booksellers like Book Thug Nation, Freebird Books, Open Air Modern and more. Also, make sure you’re around at 4pm for a seasonally appropriate reading of a first edition of The Gift of the Magi written by O. Henry. It’s the perfect holiday story and was allegedly written right here in NYC at Pete’s Tavern on Irving Place. –J.H.
