The boom in artisanal, locally made products in Brooklyn is no joke–that’s why the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, with help from Dave Liatti of 61 Local, is now arranging regular meetings for manufacturers and producers who need help finding space and resources to keep creating their coveted goods. The second quarterly meeting of the Industrial + Manufacturing Coalition is Thursday at 4pm at Industry City Distillery (33 35th St., 6th Fl.), and any maker in Brooklyn is invited to hear Jason Goodman of 3rd Ward, Peter Simon of City Foundry and Alex Dodge of Brooklyn Research talk about their experiences and the resources they have to offer. The event is followed by a tour of the distillery, and throughout, of course, you can do some essential networking. RSVP with the Chamber here.
