By now, anyone who appreciates a good yarn has probably heard of The Moth, the live storytelling showcase that has been wowing audiences in bars and other performance spaces all over the country for more than 15 years. I listen to Peabody Award-winning Moth Radio Hour frequently on WNYC, and can’t tell you how many times I have actually dawdled outside the restaurant where I was supposed to meet someone or even worked out longer (!) just because I am so engrossed in a particular tale that I have to hear the end, but the truth is I have never been to an actual live show. Hopefully, that will change on Monday, when StorySlam is back at The Bell House for a night of stories about trust, which sounds like a pretty fertile topic to me. Tickets are $8 at the door. –KH
