This weekend Afropunk Festival returns to Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn. Although the two-day festival remains free, a $25 donation will allow you to skip the line with a fast pass, which considering last years massive turn out, isn’t a bad deal. This years fest features performances from Living Color, Chuck D & DJ Lord, Death, Trash Talk, Saul Williams, Theophilus London, Big Freedia, Rye Rye, The Skins and more from genres like hardcore, soul, funk, hip hop, electronic and metal.
