Hickoree’s Hard Goods, is a go-to spot for Brooklyn’s urban outdoorsmen that also has a pretty great selection of menswear from around the world, which we wrote about last spring. The Corsillo brothers (Emil and Sandy) always manage to find cool fashion trends for guys from as far flung as Japan to local lines, including their own designs of men’s ties and accessories. Right now, they’re running a coat drive in conjunction with New York Cares, the nonprofit we wrote about earlier this month, and they’re offering everyone who donates an article of outerwear a 15% discount at their store in South Williamsburg. So if you’re looking to give out something old in exchange for something new (or just because it’s for a good cause), make your way to S. 6th Street sometime soon–the shop is open seven days a week between now and Dec. 24.
