On Thursday evening, kick off Pride weekend in Gowanus, where Threes Brewing is launching its newest beer, the appropriately-named Gender Neutral, with a pre-Pride party starting at 5pm and featuring a DJ set from Kandylion. You’ll be able to buy the beer, a pale lager brewed with lemon zest, as well as special edition merch, and all proceeds will benefit the Human Rights Campaign. When you start feeling peckish, take the short stroll to Runner & Stone on Third Ave. for the first in a series of Meet Your Makers Farm & Bottle Dinners. Thursday’s menu includes three courses made with ingredients from Elijah Farm CSA, each paired with wine from Red Hook Winery. It’s $100, but that includes taxes and tip, and I promise that the food at R & S is worth it (have you ever had one of their baguettes from the Farmer’s Market? OMG). You can reserve a spot by emailing them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
