Fans of Nicole Krauss have been waiting a long seven years for a new book from the acclaimed novelist, so the publication of Forest Dark, which goes on sale on Tuesday and chronicles a journey made by two different troubled individuals to a remote Israeli desert, has been hotly anticipated. Krauss will appear in conversation with Rivka Galchen at the Berkeley Carroll School at 7:30pm on Tuesday evening as part of a program sponsored by Community Bookstore, and it’s a great opportunity to kickstart your fall reading.
