A very writer-y night at Murmurr

By

If you had to choose one general category of general things that you’d probably never, ever get sick of…we’re guessing it might be incredible female writers who kick ass. Did we guess right?

Speaking of those, this Sunday evening writer and filmmaker Chris Kraus (“I Love Dick”) will be in conversation with the inimitable Sheila Heti (“How Should A Person Be”). Apart from what’s sure to be a great conversation between two of the most interesting writers working today, the new-ish venue Murmurr is quite a treat on its own, if you haven’t been before. Located in the historic Union Temple of Brooklyn, the venue feels like part-haunted synagogue, part-indie venue, and part-glamorous bar/bat miztvah hall.

Tickets to the talk are $17-20, and doors open at 6:30.
