One of the best gifts of a summer in NYC is all the free outdoor film series you get to choose from on any given week. If you aren’t the type to pencil in the ones you want to see, though, it’s easy to miss out on a night with friends and your favorite cult classic on a big screen, the stars overhead and a picnic spread before you.
So we’ve created a printable calendar of all the outdoor films in Brooklyn this month, ready to download here, print and keep on your fridge or at work. See Ghostbusters during the first season of Governors Island’s film series; catch Black Panter at Brooklyn Army Terminal, and take the South Brooklyn ferry to the screening; or check out every new park and venue where Rooftop Films is screening this season, including Fort Greene Park and Green-Wood Cemetery. Think of it as your reminder to make the most of your last month of summer; we’ll all be complaining about the cold soon enough.
