Sunday in Brooklyn: Celebrate Three Kings Day

By

This Sunday is Three Kings Day, a holiday that is celebrated as widely as Christmas in some Spanish and Latin communities, and Williamsburg is traditionally host to a colorful, festive parade that winds its way down Graham Ave. This is the 22nd anniversary of the parade, which starts at 2pm at the intersection of Meeker and Graham, and it seems like an especially important year to honor and support diversity and the rich cultural traditions brought to us by our citizens and residents who hail from elsewhere. Afterward, if you’re feeling up for it, the ever-popular Reverend Vince and the Love Choir will be performing a gospel-inspired set at Union Pool at 10pm; admission is free.
