Sure you know how to reduce, reuse and recycle in your everyday life, but when it comes to your wedding, planning a sustainable event for a hundred or more guests is not as obvious. To learn what it takes to make your big day zero waste, Wedding Crashers has invited some of the region’s most environmentally conscious event pros to 501 Union on February 5 for a night of expert advice.
First you’ll have an opportunity to explore 501 Union and the Green Building. Attending an open house at these venues is one of the best ways to kick off your wedding planning. You can see each venue and meet their staff in action, and take your time exploring and asking questions in a calm, no-pressure environment while sipping on cocktails and sampling some catered bites.
Then hear environmental wedding pros Ellen Hockley-Harrison of Greater Good Events, Liza Lubell of Garbage Goddess, Marcella Broe of The Parcel Flower Co., and Olivia Williamson of Olivia Cooks for You discuss “How to Green Your Wedding” with Wedding Crashers producer Nicole Davis.
Doors will open at 6pm for the 501 Union & the Green Building open house, followed by a 7:15pm panel discussion and 7:45pm Q&A at 501 Union, FREE with RSVP!
