Artist CJ Hendry has traditionally worked in shades of grey, so for her first foray into color, she went big, and transformed a warehouse space at the Metropolitan Design Center in Greenpoint into seven, single-color rooms, each of which is inspired by a bold Pantone color. “Monochrome” is open 10am-5pm Friday, April 6 through Sunday, April 8 at 276 Greenpoint Ave., and is like a free alternative to touring the $38, made-for-your-Instagram feed “Dream Machine” event nearby.
