Between the Arcade Fire winning at the Grammys and Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never breaking records, it’s fair to say that Canada’s having a pretty good 2011. On Tuesday night at Music Hall of Williamsburg, the music-making nation will be continuing its streak with a gig featuring Montreal stalwarts the Dears. The indie rock band, who first broke big with their 2004 album No Cities Left, are touring to support their new album Degeneration Street; Tuesday’s show comes straight off the back of their energetic performances at SXSW, and promises a similarly good time.
