Under the rubric of Northside Open Studios, Greenpoint Open Studios teamed up with the L’s Northside Festival to curate art shows throughout the four-day event, including a panel called “Art & Real Estate” at Causey Contemporary on Thursday, and open studios on Saturday (find all the events here). On Sunday, check out the India Street Art Festival with nbART. It’s a great chance to test out the new East River Ferry (which is free through June 24 and stops at the end of the street), and see installations and performances like Food Tarot with Tracy Candido, a Cocoon Playground, two women lounging in vintage beachwear known as The Sunbathers, and other interactive artists, bands, and food between West St. and the East River from noon-5pm.
