As if there weren’t enough reasons to head out to Prospect Heights this Saturday (hint: see below), the day also marks the second annual Wash Ave Rocks! Street Fair. The event, conveniently located just a block away from Vanderbilt Ave, features a number of different activities starring local favorites, like an appetizer tasting contest at 1pm with participants like Abigail’s and Dean Street; an advance look at the soon-to-open Kimchi Tacos; and Brooklyn food bloggers talking about local eats. Non-foodie events include fashion shows for both humans and dogs; live music; and dance and skateboarding classes for the kids.
